Blue Bear Houses Sober Living

Core Philosophy:

  • Rooted in the 12-Step program of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

  • House meetings follow AA recovery literature and structure, with our Blue Bear flavor.

  • Guests must Have a sponsor(s) or mentor(s) in their chosen recovery program(s).

Additional Recovery Practices

A variety of evidence-based, spiritual, and holistic practices are used by Blue Bear staff and guests. 

Guests are encouraged to keep an open mind (see The Set Aside Prayer) and find what works for them to support sobriety and a joyful life;

Our sober living houses are conveniently located in Livingston County, Michigan, both less than a 15 minute drive to the Livingston County Alano Club.
